Today was our Terry Fox Run. The children chose who they were running for and went outside to run.

We Can Sort in Kindergarten
We used various items to sort on our sorting mats. We told our sorting rule. “I sorted by colour.” “I sorted by shape.” “I sorted by size.” What items can you sort at home? (forks and spoons, shoes and boots, plates and cups).
Nature Walk
We went on a nature walk in the school yard and collected sticks, weeds, pinecones, leaves and rocks. We sorted them into groups and then placed them at our science centre. The children used magnifying glasses to look more closely and recorded what we saw.
